A tribute to James Podair & Lynn Kearney...

kind of.

For those of you who grew up in Rockaway and went to P.S. 42 or Beach Channel High School and are googling for Ms Kearney and Mr Podair, like i often do...there's sort of a homage to them here: http://www.xanga.com/EminemsRevenge/531496586/item.html

Don't sign up for Xanga if you wanna comment on it, do so here, because i'm totally xangafucked over there!!!

So why do i keep blogging on Xanga???

If you check out the graphics i'm able to use over there, you'll see that it looks somewhat like a lysergic version of Look magazine...something i can't recapture HERE, and that's a shame.

So like my book, all my best work is wallowing in obscurity [and since i don't know how to do links like Grumpy Old Book man does on http://eminemsrevenge.org ...it's obvious WHY i don't primarily blog from here].

Comments:
Hey, now that you're here too I can subscribe to you! The folks at Xanga all started freaking with the Footprints thing and the fact that Bloglines checks twice an hour for updates and almost everyone I was subscribed to shut down their RSS feeds - don't know who's that in Virginia (where Bloglines' office is), I'M BEIN' STALKED!! And it didn't matter how many times I explained that it was an agreggator, that I subscribed to them, THEY WAS BEIN' STALKED!! So I gave up; deleted all my Xanga subs, even yours. Why RILE anyone?

Xanga doesn't just breed paranoia, it breeds what's suspected: plaguarism. I swear it happens most at Xanga. With their 25 million registered users, they're laughing all the way to the bank though. Do you know how much advertising revenue that would be?! HUGE.

RYC: In the "compose" box there is a little globe with a chain link on it. Highlight your word and click on that and put your url in the box. That's what makes the word a link. In the "edit html" mode it's [a href="your link url"]linked word(s)[/a] except you have to change all the []'s to <>'s. Don't forget the /a or everything becomes part of the link.

Forgot to mention... if you add target="resource window" after the url in the <>'s it will open the link in a new window.

And if you have an account at a place like Photobucket.com (there are lots of them) you can post your pics here just like at Xanga. (Most of the pics I post there are at Photobucket.)
